Fun, Creative Art classes for ages 9-12

My name is Sarah Clement and I’m a professional artist, illustrator and workshop teacher. I’ve done workshops for both adults and kids, in person and online and I’m excited to be offering kids art sessions in the New year at my friend’s beautiful studio in Lower Gibsons.

Each week we’ll dive into a new project, working with a variety of materials & mediums, including painting, collage and drawing. We’re going to get messy and colourful and make some beautiful things along the way. I want to keep the class size small to offer lots of hands-on instruction and create a safe, nurturing creative space for all of the kids. These classes are all about creative exploration, learning new skills and having fun.

WHEN: Wednesdays 3:45-4:45 Jan 14th-Feb 25th

WHERE: art studio in Lower Gibsons near Armour’s Beach (see note below)*

WHO: Max 6 kids, ages 9-12

WHO’S IT FOR?

• max 5-6 kids per class (I want to keep the group small so there’s lots of space to interact, ask questions, focus and have fun)

• All creative skill levels welcome -- it’s fun and playful for everyone

*LOCATION: I previously taught at the Living Room Studio (which had to close) but my friend Kaylee has kindly offered her home art studio. It’s a beautiful cozy space with a separate entrance and a wood fireplace, right near Armour’s Beach. Exact address will be shared after signing up.
