Have you always wanted to learn how to draw flowers

but don't know where to start?

Well, I’ve got a great workshop for you! A gentle, inspiring introduction to the world of botanical drawing.

In this workshop we’ll explore the fundamentals of drawing botanicals from observation. We'll start off with some technical exercises that lay the foundation for our sketches as we observe beautiful flowers grown by Alli at Crow & Co here in Gibsons.

This workshop is intended to give you the building blocks to start drawing more realistic plants. You should go home with lovely sketches and some new skills and confidence up your sleeve.

WHO’S IT FOR?

  • anyone who is interested in learning how to draw botanicals!
    It’s perfect if you’re a beginner, as we’ll be covering some basic techniques, but there’s also room if you’re more experienced.

  • All creative skill levels welcome -- it’s fun and playful for everyone

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • A 2.5 hour in-person workshop at the Living Room Studio in Gibsons

  • An illustrated Zine with notes from the class that I’ve created for you

  • A small bouquet of flowers from Crow & Co. to take home!

  • We’ll cover some basic observation and sketching techniques, how to approach petals and leaves and explore the fun world of botanical drawing!

  • A fun, nurturing environment that promotes creative thinking and play
