We have just opened the Living Room Studio in Gibsons and are seeking one new studiomate to join us. Let’s create a vibrant, inspiring space together!
Who we are:
Sarah Clement is an artist, illustrator and workshop teacher who believes in the transformative power of creativity and that we thrive best in community. She looks to nature as a wise teacher and muse. Clement is a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design and a published children’s book illustrator.
Sarah Tesla is a writer, photographer and counsellor in training. She is excited to bring people together over their shared interests in art, conversation and community. In addition, she supports local non-profits with her skills as a communications professional and advocate for more equity in mental health services.
Meghan Walley is a water colour painter and scientific illustrator seeking to express reverence through careful observation. She is inspired by the forests, farms, and coastlines of the Sunshine Coast, their diverse ecosystems, and all the species that inhabit them.

tiny gallery

WE ARE ALSO OPEN TO 2 PEOPLE SHARING THE SPACE & SPLITTING THE COST OVER THE MONTH.
Who you are:
an artist/designer/illustrator/remote worker/some kind of creative residing on the Sunshine Coast
if you are creating physical work, you don’t require a huge amount of space & don’t use really smelly materials
need a workspace outside of your home and happy to work alongside 3 other studiomates
you’re interested in being part of/creating a supportive creative community
potentially interested in running workshops/events

space is 560 sq feet
location: 1006 Venture Way Unit 111 in Upper Gibsons
your own desk that we provide
rent is $375, includes wifi, utilities, small kitchen
we are ideally looking for folks interested in longer term commitments (6 months +)
