The Story

Raven sat high in the tree, the light of the moon catching a hint of blue in the inky blackness of his wings. You could see the mischievous glint in his eye, a kind of knowing. That despite our constant compulsion to move and plan and live in straight lines, that everything always comes back to circles, to cycles, to a beautiful poetic flowing dance that does not end. 

If you asked him how he knew this, he would tell you he learned this, sitting high up in a tree. Listening to the moon and watching the red backs of salmon swim upstream.
